To carry out the following development: The proposed development will include: 1) Construction of Mini Roundabout at the junction of the N85 and the L4601 Shanaway Road. 2) 2 No. raised controlled pedestrian crossings on the N85 with central Islands. 3) 1 No. uncontrolled pedestrian crossing on the L4601 Shanaway Road. 4) Installation of additional public lighting columns and associated ancillary works to tie into existing public lighting system. 5) Installation of new gullies, tapping into existing surface drainage system. 6) Provision of associated Signage and Road Markings. 7) All associated and ancillary site works. In accordance with the Birds and Natural Habitats Directive, Screening for Appropriate Assessment has been carried out on the project. Proposes to carry out the following development at Claureen, Ennis, Co Clare under the Local Infrastructure Housing Activation Fund (LIHAF). The proposed development is to provide for a link road between the existing N85 roundabout and the junctions of Lees Road (L4180)/Drumcliffe Road (L4599)&(L4182)/ Drehidnagower Road (L4587) and includes for the following works: 1) Link road and associated cycle paths and footpaths 2) The creation of new junction/roundabout and improvements on the Lees Road/ Drumcliffe Road Junction; 3) The creation of new junction and improvements on Lahinch Road onto the existing N85 roundabout; 4) The provision of trunk water and drainage services and other services; 5) Public lighting installation; 6) The connecting of existing services to the site; 7) Ancillary site works, ground works and landscaping.
